A question for you AK-radio fans

When I was working in alaska from 1991 to 2004 I would recive a station called 980-X I think it was in Kenai. I went home to louisiana for time off from work, only to find that the station went off the air. Do anybody know why or the reason for going silent, and /or when it will go back on the air? Also has anybody heard if or when will KNIK restart their webcast? ???
 
The station was KZXX 980 AM from Kenai. They went off the air a few years ago, were owned by the same company that owned several Kenai/Soldotna stations, Radio Kenai Inc(KSRM, KWHQ, KKIS and KSLD)- and I guess the rock programming they offered just didnt gather much of an audience on an AM station. They went dark, and never came back on.
