Is there really a "WQVC"? I saw that on the infomercial on QVC last night, and assumed it was an in-studio generated stream. Perhaps that's not what you're referring to, but geez...couldn't they at least have used music?
I'm too cheap to pay for cable (over-the-air PBS is about all I watch) so the only time I have access to QVC is in hotel rooms. But based on the comments posted here so far, my "lame marketing" detector just went off-scale.
They did actually use Huey Lewis and the News' "If This Is It". However, the fact that they used mock radio stations with call letters "WQVC" and let's also not forget "WHDR", hopefully will encourage the gullible QVC user to think twice before purchasing one of these devices.
Dtothej they did indeed play a little "If this is it" by Huey Lewis when demonstrating AM HD, but they talked over the top so you could hear NOTHING. ARRRGH!
