You're funny. Did you expect 96.5 to get stellar ratings right away? Wow. Anyway, right now, except for Andy, 96.5 is a crummy station. He had a conversation yesterday (and continuing today I believe) taking suggestions from listeners on what they would like to hear on the station. I think more local content will help the ratings. WLW is getting too stupid with Scott Sloan talking about women's underwear or some other inane topic for three hours. If WFTK gets some quality local talent (Lincoln Ware or Nathan Ive) they could start to pick up speed. Right now they're just putting on the same bland conservative talk that's not much different from what's on 55KRC except that it's harder to switch from, say, WCKY to WFTK than WCKY to WKRC. 96.5 needs to put on some new provocative local shows that will finally get talk radio listeners to press the FM button. So far Andy has done a good job, bringing up off the beaten path topics (so to speak) that aren't the same old trading Adam Dunn topics.
