So Train Wreck....what do these numbers mean?

0.3...12
0.2...25-54

Those are your extrapolated ratings for the third month. That's means no one is listening. Ouch for "The Bigger One."

;D

You're funny. Did you expect 96.5 to get stellar ratings right away? Wow. Anyway, right now, except for Andy, 96.5 is a crummy station. He had a conversation yesterday (and continuing today I believe) taking suggestions from listeners on what they would like to hear on the station. I think more local content will help the ratings. WLW is getting too stupid with Scott Sloan talking about women's underwear or some other inane topic for three hours. If WFTK gets some quality local talent (Lincoln Ware or Nathan Ive) they could start to pick up speed. Right now they're just putting on the same bland conservative talk that's not much different from what's on 55KRC except that it's harder to switch from, say, WCKY to WFTK than WCKY to WKRC. 96.5 needs to put on some new provacative local shows that will finally get talk radio listeners to press the FM button. So far Andy has done a good job, bringing up off the beaten path topics (so to speak) that aren't the same old trading Adam Dunn topics.

An Amber Alert does better than an 0.2, for goodness sake.

Cumulus is foolish to think that just because talk is on a FM signal that it would do well with the current lineup which is mostly bad syndicated programming that Salem failed with on 1160 a couple of years ago.

I 100% agree. Drop the evening syndicated programming and go local.

It's amazing watching the posts on this site, with wannabes and old time radio geezers who think that Bobby Sherman records are going to a pull a 5.0 share in this or any market.

Of course 96.5 isn't going to get ratings. It sucks--not just the lineup, which is the castaways of every other talk station that has tried to make it in this town--the imaging sucks, the second banana with Furman sucks, the "wild" Furman without the other cast of characters around him.

Like it or not, 700WLW does a great job of presenting itself as a bigger than life talk station. 55KRC is boring and for listeners who still wear tightie whities and saddle shoes.

Get a life, and then write down 700WLW in your arb diary...like everyone else does...

You people are a joke and so obviously uninformed or Clear Channel employees.

How do you expect a station to come on the air after just two books and beat or even come close to a station like WLW or even WKRC? 1160 did not have Glenn Beck or any live personalities. It also has the worst signal in town. I don't think I ever saw any outside promotion of 1160.

You're the same losers who said The Sound wouldn't work. What a joke you people are.
