Well, maybe the A and S parts are optional... but it's just common sense that DX reports are completely meaningless unless you identify where you received the DX. After all, "KYMX from Sacramento was coming in full quieting!" is pretty impressive if you're in Albuquerque, but not such a big deal if you're right next door in Oakland!

My age can be found in my bio. But I live in Coldwater, Michigan. Which is about halfway between Chicago and Detroit, Lansing and Fort Wayne. And far enough away from Battle Creek and Kalamazoo that their stations don't put too much bleed on the adjacent frequencies.

Probably the best spot to DX in Southern Michigan. <P ID="signature">______________

I can relate to that, I live in Central Indiana, but far enough from Indianapolis, that I can null out the power houses, and regularly hear St. Louis, Nashville TN, and Chicago, and if im lucky.... WAy WAY Farther than that, like Denver, and Miami. during the right time
