A SHOCKER on AI Eliminations: It's a sad night in Beantown

Kinnik is going home but so is, way too early, Ayla Brown. She wasnt going to go the whole way but I certainly thought she'd make the top 12. She is the first evictee to show the tears too. Very emotional for her. And good for her for being able to get thru her eviction performance. Great job!

Don't feel too terrible for her though. She gets to go home, finish high school, help out her basketball team, and then it's on to Boston College on a full basketball scholarship.

Since Ayla's mom is WCVB-TV/Channel 5 reporter Gail Huff, maybe they can finally say something about it.

Most shocking of all, 16 year old "sex symbol" Kevin moves on to the top 12 as well. God help us all.

There is an organized effort to keep not-so-talented "Idol" conetstants in the competition. They're behind the website http://www.votefortheworst.com, and the two contestants they wanted to keep in this week (March 7th-9th) have indeed made the "Top 12".

Speaking of A Sad Day In Beantown, first Willie McGinest gets cut, then Sergei Samsanov gets traded, and now Ayla Brown is voted-off.

Kellie was not the worst

Oh, come on. Votefortheworst.com says Kellie Pickler was the worst amongst the final 8 girls?? No way. Kinnik was worse. So was Paris. Just because Kellie is blond, hot, sweet, hot, has a great body and is hot doesnt mean she isnt talented. And, personally, I thought her performance this week was her best yet.

At this point, I'm predicting Mandisa, Kellie, and Katharine for the top 3 girls (with smokin-hot Melissa and her bellybutton ring as a close 4th). None of the guys are good enough. And when's the last time you heard much (except rumors) about Clay Aiken or Ruben Studdard?? or even Fantasia? It's all about Grammy-winning Kelly Clarkson and top-selling Carrie Underwood.

My ultimate prediction...<drumroll>......Mandisa (because she's been so consistent from the beginning).

But I'm in love with Kellie and in lust with Melissa. Or have you figured that out by now. ;o)

Willie was cut minutes after the 30-2 CBA vote last night. It wasn't today.
He may still re-sign with the Pats, though.

Samsonov was never a big deal in Boston sports. Fox 25 gave him
15 seconds on their 5pm newscast tonight. 15 seconds, Joseph.
Trading away by far their best player was a much bigger news than
today's trade.

Ayla Brown? It's a bummer about AI, but she'll be a huge star at BC. Maybe
even Women's Final Four some day.

Yea, we get it, WMC :) Bummer about Ayla, but she was going to go
sooner or later. Like I said and we all agreed :) - the entire country
watches, but it's the SOuth and Midwest that vote the most and
always they vote for their own regardless of the talent level.

I say, ACE gets into the Top 3 because of the teeniebopper votes.

Channel 5 mentions Ayla.."You're our Idol", says Ed Harding

On the 11pm news, Ed Harding and Liz Brunner said "Everyone at Channel 5 was glued to the tv watching American Idol. NewsCenter reporter Gail Huff's daughter, Ayla Brown, was cut from American Idol tonite....."

And they even showed the clip from the show of Ayla's brief chat with Ryan Seacrest onstage when she found out she was the one going home.

Nice touch.

Well, that explains how Melissa beat out Ayla. It sure as Hell wasn't her singing, which was terrible! Only Kinnik Sky was worse. Simon, though often maligned, was right in singling both out for elimination. Perhaps Ayla needed to show some midriff like Melissa - but she has too much class for that!

Between the two, I found Ayla more attractive anyhow. ;-)

As for the men, Kevin's continued existence on the show illustrates that VFTW does actually work! Ridiculous.
