Here is an astonishingly daring video entry…. It was originally broadcast, as a radio bit on WKDR Burlington Vermont’s Manno and Condon Show on April 1st 1994. –
Just as the hype for Filmmaker Ken Burns’ acclaimed Baseball series for PBS reached - lesbian kiss hype status. Louie and Jim predictably went against the status-quo and constantly derided the filmmaker… Dismissing him as a smug skinny guy with an impeccably groomed beard - filming a bunch of old pictures - and hiring a few lousy non-union actors to read paragraphs from history books.
After 2 days of dumping on the poor well-intentioned little filmin feller… plus all of PBS - A dead pan message was delivered to the listeners “The next thirty minutes are a program length commercial purchased by Public Television” To promote the next Ken Burns PBS project..
Anyway… We recently made a short deliciously ludicrous parody film based on this labor-intensive one shot piece of radio.
I am tired of talking about my self in the 3rd person… And I’m almost out of Brillcream… If you have time to kill please enjoy my first 2 reeler.
Emoticon Weekly gave it 3 smiley faces.
“It had me fidgeting and nervously twisting the ends of my moustache the whole time” Joel Seagal
“The picture was clear” Noel Wisterworth Editor of The Book Mobile flyer The Try County Try-fold Tribune.
