A skippy morning

Driving home around 5 AM-ish and picking up a lot of Canadian and Pitsburgh stations I normally can't pick up [in the Akron area]. Really strong one was a CBC station out of London, Ontario, strong enough that it was trading places on and off with WAKR when I was only a couple of miles from their FM antenna. Once I got out of their range to the east, the CBC station was coming in like a local.

I've noticed that, during certain weather conditions, 94.3 CKSY can come in by Lorain as clear as can be. Also, I don't know which other stations anywhere around Ohio broadcast on 98.1, but it gets annoying when WKDD gets blocked off by other stations on that frequency. I know that I'm not anywhere near the Akron/Canton market way up here, but it's just a curiosity. I know 92.3 used to get overridden by Detroit's 92.3 over by the Mercy Hospital in Lorain back in the day - I haven't listened to it since its pre-KRock alternative days, and then I only caught it a handful of times as Radio 92.3 - but I don't know if the same still holds true.
