A Sunny Christmas

nd2023

Banned
Am I the only one who recorded airchecks of Sunny 104.5's Christmas format? It's so refreshing to hear the real Sunny 104.5's Christmas music now. They had the best variety of Christmas classics, and very few songs from the 20 years I was alive. I have to admit it's better than Now 97.5 and WOGL. I made the aircheck on December 21, 2003, and I recorded 37 hours of it! Now I'm so thankful I made it, because I did not know that the Sun would set a few months after I graduated high school.

No...I have several tapes of Christmas music with Sunny jingles & liners that I also added to my iPod for listening this Christmas season. Now 97.5 wasn't too bad, but Sunny set the standard here for the right mix of elements.

I will give props to Now for playing a lot of vocals of traditional Christian carols. I heard B a couple times and when I heard them play religious carols they were instrumentals and the vocals were all Santa/snow type songs. If you're playing 6 weeks of Christmas music probably anyone who wouldn't want to hear Christian lyrics isn't listening anyway.
