lol gort - you don't know what you are talking about
for one - 104.7 never was a contender - 104.5 yes - 104.7 nope, never was in the mix
also, you need to read up on the waiver criteria which makes a handful of channels available
your 'ONLY' and 'NOT' statements are ridiculessly false
 
I am using a Professional Engineering data base and FM study. It costs about $ 2,000 which uses the FCC and USGS data bases. You are using a free REC data base that warns users to consult a professional engineer and not to depend on the REC database to be able to file an acceptable LPFM application. I am a professional engineer. You seem to be something else. Wish you well and dream on.

7 of the 9 LPFM apps I filed were accepted AND licensed by the FCC in 2001. One of those was selected by the FCC (out of thousands submitted) as one of 25 'model' applications. The two that were not licensed were knocked out by an Act of Congress AFTER having been accepted by the commish.

Please note the subject header - "just playin' with the numbers" Also, the question mark in the subject- the exercise was purely *hypothetical*
- apparently you have a need to prove others to be wrong. I'm sure a "professional"s clients take well to that attitude. Rave on.
