A TALENT IS BEING WASTED AT KLAV

It is a shame that Hart Kirshs talent is being wasted at a toilet bowl of a station like KLAV. It just shows what Small Minded Republican Lackys we have programing the two major AM talkers in this town. One station has a bitter washed up Bush Bot who needs his ego stroked everyday by the PD and his partner is a incoherent dope who USED her daddy's NAME to get her gig and the other station has a Top 40 DJ Puker sounding News Anchor reading the same 6 dry news stories for 3 hours and going to traffic so many times it makes you nauseous then after that (if you haven't already blown you brains out) they put on a Yenta with less talent then the daughter of the Top 40 countdowner with 2 hours of brain numbing babble!!! I hope someday that a PD will come to this town and can look past their Voter Registration Card and judge someone on their talent! Until then we will have to deal with an Old former Head Shrink that buys into his own psycho babble, A ditsy daughter of a Top 40 Count Down announcer, and a Yenta who should be a 3rd shift hostess at your low end casino cafe in North Las Vegas.

HK can run his finger nails up and down a blackboard while sucking on a lemon....Vegas is a place where people say Taco Bell is the Best Mexican food and IN and Out is the Best Hamburger and Olive Garden the Best Italian Food.....so why would they have taste in radio

Shawn Saint John is now known as Panama and works 9A-Noon at the BUZZ in Reno.

I have great memories of both listening to and latter working with Shawn. I remember his energy, unique personality, and how egotistical he sounded,,,in a fun way,,not pretentious at all.

What I liked about that era of radio is that there were fun personalities like Saint John, it was before everybody sounded so real and relateable. You never heard Shawn talk about what's on TV like most everyone does these days..no, he was the entertainment and he knew it. What a different world it was.

As for the other personalities you mentioned, I recommend you post on the "where are they now" board here on Radio-info.
 
I remember Hart on K-DAWN as informative, but talking way too fast and cutting callers off. Not to mention that he used to cut HIS OWN CO-HOST off - KEN STAHL. That was the worst part of it. Ken has a good sense of humor, and you never got to hear it because of Hart's ADHD-like domination. People liked Ken and wanted to hear him talk about his family, his kids in school, being without a car because of too many family members, etc. The Ken Stahl show Sunday mornings was always nice because Hart wasn't there domineering and talking over Ken.

How is Ken Stahl doing these days?
 
I worked for Kirsch in the early 70's the worst PD I ever worked for in my entire 20 year radio career. Not only did he have little talent as ratings showed consistently he was by far the most arrogant, self entitled PD I ever worked for. Kirsch humilllated all of his staff at every opportunity.His favorite word and probably the only one he could pronounce was " dummies" I had enough worst pd I ever worked for. I have to thank him actually as I left CJME because of him and carried on to a successful radio career in southern Alberta and beyond. Legendary. I think not. Even the Rawlinsons owners of Ralco, CJME eventually came to understand they couldn't stand him.
