Unwittingly or not, you corrected my earlier entry of Stephen Stills, who of course fronted the vocals for Buffalo Springfield. Regardless of the billing, Stills always performs like he's singing solo. The guy just steals the show.

I'm familiar with the Buffalo Springfield version. I knew Stills was in the group, but I didn't know he also recorded the song solo.
