Howdy y'all, Josh Owens, here. Growing up as a blind kid in the NC Piedmont, I always enjoyed radio, but the bug officially bit me back in 1984, at the age of seven, when I toured my first FM/AM combo. I knew that day, that all I ever wanted to do, was be in radio. The LORD allowed me to fulfill that dream (with it's share of nightmares), from June of '98, 'til mid-July of '04, at WCLW, Eden/Reidsville, NC and am still involved in radio/internet sales (in the words of the late Lewis Compton, The Mouth Of The South) with one foot and one finger. Some of my radio mentors include Dave Compton, Arvin Wynn, Gloria (Bibey) Rayle, Little David Lewis and the late Ralph Epperson, among many others. I miss radio, sometimes more than others, but with the landscape changing so much, reckon, unless the LORD were to work a miracle, which He still can/could do, amen and BTW, this blind guy will just be an onlooker with a mind that still works it, if you know what I mean. Oh, re: transplant, I spent the first thirty years of my life in the NC Piedmont and have lived in LA, GA and have been in KY for several years now, all while following different scholastic, church and corporate paths. There's everything you've wanted to know about me and then some LOL.
