A Website Worthy of Envy...

Take a look at their new site http://rock107.com/

This has to be one of the nicest radio sites I have ever seen, befitting of a station that just had a sensational(and deserved)book. What I like most about it is the complete honesty; drinking beer, smoking cigars, sitting at a bar. Most stations wouldn't have the stones(or the foresight)to be so honest with their listeners, and potential listeners. Surely someone will suggest it condones unhealthy behavior. Perhaps. But my take is that it doesn't condone as much as it reflects the reality of who most of us are. Being an adult, I can really appreciate being treated like one.

Thanks masterg,

Our new website is LIGHT YEARS ahead of the old one which I always thought had a sort of 8th grade website class project look to it. I love the new site and the good thing about it is we all get our own pages to put on them whatever we want.

And while we are still lagging behind in that streaming is not yet happening, I'm told that'll be here by December 1st! (We actually had streaming once upon a time, long before any station in the market did, even before some stations had a website at all but it went by the wayside for reasons I'd only cause a meeting for myself if I went into here.)

I can't tell you how much e-mail I get from people out of the market who once lived here and who miss their Rock107 fix...and the majority of THAT e-mail is from our soldiers in Iraq so soon we'll be there for them offering at least one of the creature comforts (if we can be called that) of home.

Check it out, www.rock107.com

And thanks again masterg!

Well... at least we can see the AM antenna from http://www.scrantonlive.com and look around the city a little... But streaming would be cool again... (Ummm... most likely due to cost involved... Heyna or no...?)

This is a killer website and the morning crew looks, well, so much at home!
