A WQAM FORMAT QUESTION

Hey Guys and Gals:

I keep seeing that WQAM when it was oldies had sports talk shows as well. Can anybody tell me about this and if it is true??

THANKS!!

T.J.

Yessiree, it was true!

Jeff & Dan sold the airtime after the sun went down to Mr. Ed Kaplan who sold the spots and did the show until they flipped the format and made him an employee.

They also were running Gators football during this time as well.

This went from the late 1980s until the sports flip.

Trying to recall, it was an evening show, but I don't remember if it started at 8pm or 10pm (10 seems to ring better) and was on until the last west coast game.
