ABC-15 to begin Midday News Show

The article claims "The program will be the only midday news broadcast in the Valley." Um, no, NOON is in fact "midday". It will be the only 11am broadcast in the Valley. Do these reporters actually check the facts?

The way things are going local television will soon be all news except when they are not running infomercials.

Too many hours, too little news.

I guess Right This Minute is canceled and what about ABC's The Revolution that airs at 1pm? Will they keep ABC 15 Now @ 3pm??

I think Now @ 3 is gone after the summer. I wonder if Susan Casper will be staying around ABC15.

ABC recently announced that they were cancelling "The Revolution".

...which will be replaced by the summer series "Good Afternoon America", a spinoff of Good Morning America. GAA starts on July 9 and will only air until September, when ABC yields an hour of network programming to local affiliates.

ABC15 is still airing the three-hour "RTM" marathon (plus a "preview" episode of "Motion" from the subchannel no one watches, Live Well Network) on Saturday late nights but I don't know for how long. It seems like a waste of transmitter power. Are all the good weekend movie packages picked over?
