ABC 15 Weekend Mornings ???

I watched portions of (ABC15 Weekend Morning) this past Saturday's show and came away thinking I was in Groundhog Day. I watched most of the first 35-40 minutes of the show and then had some things to do. I did come back about 6:15 and felt like it was a repeat of the 5am hour. All the stories I heard were the same ones from an hour earlier and I would swear they were verbatim and in the same order (including which anchor read which part of the story). I also turned back in just before 8:30am and it was the same thing.

Did anyone else notice this?

(When watching 3TV and their hour upon hour of morning show, I know they repeat stories from one hour to another but usually it is not the same anchor/news reader who does the story again.)

i dont watch abc15 weekend mornings however it seems like most weekend morning newscast have their stories on repeat ever half hour (3tv). it gets really boring, needs more live reports!!

Welcome to the world of Weekend Morning Newscasts! While 3TV tends to mix it up a bit and does a ton of live interviews and features, weekend morning newscasts tend to be repetitive! In fact, weekday morning newscasts can be repetitive as well. Most people don't sit down and watch from 4:30am to 7am (or 10am for 3 and 10).

So, morning newscasts tend to be repetitive (think radio news).

Like 'formeraa' sez.....the early parts tend to be "radio news" and as the morning gets later the emphasis shifts to in-studio cooking stuff, live reports (commercials in disguise) and fluffy stories although the news tidbits tend to remain the same.

I usually watch 10 from about 8-9:30ish and they have a set of events they present at specified times (Beth from KEZ, the weekly movie report, Cory's school visit, TMZ segment and at least one in-studio cooking feature). The news is given on the hour and half-hour and is usually a repeat of the earlier segment unless a breaking story happens by.

I noticed yesterday that both Dan Spindle and Britt Moreno have left/are leaving Fox10 so the Saturday AM show is questionable. Too bad.....I liked both those anchors.
