ABC 33/40 Expanding James Spann Weather

ABC 33/40's James Spann Weather channel is expanding in Birmingham, it is now seen on WDBB 17.3 as well as WJSU 40.3.

Also, a new CP has been granted in Anniston 100.1 FM 25,000 watts.

As well as, WAFF 48.2 Bounce being on Comcast on channel 217, and WAFF 48.3 Grit being on Comcast on channel 218.
 
Wow...that CP for Anniston at 100.1 took forever to come to fruition. IIRC, 100.1 was the replacement allocation for Anniston when WHMA-FM at 100.5 was approved to move to the Atlanta area. That must've been 12-15 years ago when WHMA-FM packed their bags and left Anniston.

I thought I would share my speculation to what WCFT CH 33 will become once everything is over.

Chances are ( my guess is) it will become Alabama's First CTN Christian Television Network Station. WCFT For Christian Family Television.
.1 Will Become CTN .2 Might Become Lifestyle TV .3 Might Become CTNI ( Spanish)

CTN is also heard on channel 49 WEPH For West Alabama Out Of Tupelo MS.

Also I Think WTTO 21 Should add a .3 Channel with Escape TV (new to Alabama also) or Weather Nation ( new to Birmingham).

I Also Think WUOA 23.3 would make a great home for TV Scout or maybe movies (both new to Alabama), and WAIT 42.3 would be great for Antenna TV. (new to Birmingham)

I think this is how Sinclair's lineup should look like other than 33 mentioned above:

WDBB 17: .1 ABC .2 James Spann Weather .3 CW
WABM 68: .1 ABC .2 James Spann Weather .3 My Net
WJSU 40: .1 ABC .2 James Spann Weather .3 Heartland
WBMA 58: Keep As is Same As 40
WTTO 21: .1 CW .2 Get TV .3 Escape or Weather Nation as mentioned above
