Checking out their website, since I work when all of their broacasts air (2nd shift)..... seems like 7 is covering much much more of the suburbs than anytime I can remember. They had some reports on lightning from Roselle and Hanover Park..... a near drowning in Hanover Park last night, and a fire/murder in Buffalo Gove.

Anyone else notice this? Are they truing to compete more with CLTV now by paying attention MORE to the burbs than ever before? Or is this just selective stories that are featured on the website and they are still mainly Chicago-focused on the bulk of thier newscasts?

My sister watches 7 for news. I did notice a bunch of suburban coverage. I have no idea about CLTV since I haven't seen CLTV since I moved here from Zion in 1997.
______________
