Re: Change in the ABC AC Morning Show
Effective this date, Bob Leonard has left the building and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors.
Effective August 2nd, through the 19th, Lori St. James will be off the air, and John McCarty will be handling
Wake-up Duties on ABC AC. If you require any special opens or liners while John is filling in, please get them to Tom Kennedy ASAP.
On August 22 nd, Richard Stevens will join Lori St. James as co-host until a permanent replacement can be named.
Richard has worked at great radio stations like KRTH in Los Angeles and KODZ in Dallas, and for the past 9 years has been of the anchor of USA Radio’s National Magazine Morning Show. Richard’s talent, attitude, work ethic and experience in the National Arena will allow us to continue to offer you great programming in the morning until a permanent co-host can be named and our final gameplan put in place.
Anyone out there thinking of making changes? It was nice to have Bob Leonard on (he was an old WLS alumni) with Lori... I thought their chemistry was good, and Lori has never demonstrated an ability to relate to anyone else on the air other than Bob. Wonder what happened to Bob? The email is striking in its abiguity...
