Prior to being an ABC News correspondent for ABC Audio Derricke Dennis was with I-Net, WCBS-TV and WDIV-TV as parts of their news staff.

ABC Audio has promoted Derricke Dennis to staff correspondent. Dennis first joined the ABC newsroom in the fall of 2019 working overnight shifts. It didn't take long until he become a fixture on ABC News Radio, working a full schedule for the last two years as a freelancer, and anchoring our flagship I-NET newscast with a distinctive style - simultaneously deep but laid-back, thorough yet conversational.
