ABC News Around The World and World Wrap-up

Anyone remember News Around The World and World Wrap-up on the ABC Information net?

I remember News Around The World with Bob Walker at 7AM Central time, and I believe it was 14:30 in length. The afternoon version with John Grimes at 5 PM was 9:30 in length. Also, ABC had World Wrap-Up at night with Dan Streeter that was 14:30 in length and aired at 9 PM Central. Anyone know when they dropped the long newscasts and went to five minutes for all of them?
 
I believe it was in 1969. I was listening to stations while driving from Arizona to Indiana and heard the shorter length newscasts. When I got to Indiana I called a local station and asked the same question. This was in September and the reply I got was a few months earlier.

IIRC, ABC stopped running its half-hour evening news block in 1976 or '77, which I think ran from 6 to 6:30 PM CT. I remember hearing it on WTAQ/1300 in suburban Chicago back then, since WLS didn't have to carry long-form network programming anymore (they had to up until 1968, when Don McNeill's Breakfast Club was canceled).
 
The 15 minute casts continued thru the early 80s. We dropped out after 5 min. There was a News Around the World for the west coast at 11 eastern 8am pacific as well but the east got the standard open..spoken slowly
