BPI, the maker of the so-called "pink slime" has sued ABC News, anchor Diane Sawyer, two reporters, and three people that appeared in the report, including a USDA microbiologist and a former BPI employee. BPI is claiming that ABC's reporting labeled their product "unfit for human consumption" amongst other claims.
This case will go nowhere...it is just a company about to go under trying to get a quick buck out of the whole mess.
