ABC Northern Territory (Australia) on 2485kHz

When 2310, 2325 and 2485 are coming in good, here's another to try for: Radio Symban on 2368.5 kHz, also from Australia but with Greek programming. I think they run a kilowatt at best. They were coming in here a few weeks ago, but the static level on 120 meters was bad at the time making the audio difficult to hear but the greek music is easily recognizable and can be checked against:

it is a silly frequency - usually audio for about 15 mins an hour before sunrise

on 31m at the same time, theyre on 6-7 audible freqs at once with the same program at diff levels. only worse duplication offender is CRI on 41-19m during morning grayline and Cuba on 49m evenings

Today I had some high-band DX. Got the WBAP STL link on 25910 as well as KSCS 25990. Also had a 25870 (presumbly WFLA) but no ID. This was around 5pm PDT today.

All this both on the low portion of the HF band and near the CB radio frequencies are something I've never heard of. I'll try that someday.

Technically it's a link that sends non delayed programming to the field for traffic reporters. Most talk stations (and virtually all IBOC stations) delay their analog audio making it impossible to 'go to Larry with your WBAP helicopter traffic' without a feed like this. Some station do it this way, some put the non-delayed audio on an FM SCA.

Saw the listing for a WBAP RPU there with 150 watts but didn't see anything similar on nearby frequencies for either KSCS and WFLA, at least on the FCCInfo.com site. Is there a better source for info on them?

Also, if an FM station is shortspaced to a co-channel station, it'll be hard to pick it up in a helicopter 1000 feet in the air.
