As Summer 2016 comes to its unofficial close, ABC Radio announces two Labor Day weekend music specials, "San Francisco Celebration" and "The Greatest Modern Country Duets," as well as, three one-hour news/talk specials "ABC News Radio's Powerhouse Politics: 5 Things to Know," "Back to School Survival Guide," and "ABC Radio's 10% Happier with Dan Harris."
ABC Radio is teaming up with Carlos Santana, the Doobie Brothers, Journey and Steve Miller to honor the rock and roll the Bay Area has produced over the years in the two-hour special, "San Francisco Celebration." The special will include all-new interviews with the artists and their classic hits.
In the special "The Greatest Modern Country Duets," Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and her mother, country singer Linda Davis, take a look at some of the all-time great country duets. The three-hour program will feature duets from Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley as well as Davis' duet with Reba McEntire, "Does He Love You." Hillary and Linda will also share cuts from the entire Davis family's new album "Love Remains."
