ABC15 Audio Issues on Network News

I have been experiencing rather severe audio problems while watching the evening (network) news on ABC15. The sound is normal but falls to a barely audible level when Charlie Gibson comes back on-screen. You have to keep raising and lowering the audio throughout the program.

I reported it to the station and today received an email from their chief engineer that they are aware of the problem and expect to have it fixed shortly.
