ABC15 News to start at 4am?

It was posted on another board that ABC15 is going to expand the am newscast to start at 4am. The 4-5am anchor is said to be Susan Casper. I remember that a few years ago ABC15 started at 4:30am, but then went back to 5am. So, ABC15 is going to compete heavily with KPHO.

Honestly, I've been watching ABC15 more often in the mornings. I like the "less chit chat, more news" format. I've grown a bit tired of the Tram and Scott banter over on 12. Also, the organization of the 6:30am half hour of 12 News is not conducive to me (weather only at 6:30am and briefly at 6:56am, none in between).

Yeah, ABC15 did do 4:30am and was the only local channel that had news. Ann Stephens (sp?) anchored it. As I said at the time, I think only me, Formeraa, and the family members of the station watched it!

I would be very tempted to go back to Daybreak. I liked their All Female news team. I stopped watching when the great Andi Barness was fired. Since 3TV axed Dan Davis and Brad Perry, I've been looking for a new morning home.
 
Honestly, I can't say that I regularly watch news at 4:30am. :D However, I have family members who rise before dawn and certainly would love to have a local newscast in Seattle at 4am (two of the stations start at 4:30am now up there -- one of them is a Belo-owned station).
 
I actually enjoy 15 for news in the morning but I find it weird that many times either Jenn or Rebecca are off and then there are days when they are both on the air. Any rhyme or reason why that is? I still miss Andi on traffic, sorry Michael you are no Andi
