ABC15 "Taking Action"

Noticed today on the evening broadcast a graphic with "Taking Action" on ABC15. Later, one of the reporters closed out her live report with "Taking Action from ...I'm ..." A look at their webpage also includes Taking Action. So it looks like a new mantra has been launched at ABC15.
 
Do these yahoo's realize that the average viewer doesn't care and probably doesn't even notice their little meaningless plug-a-thons.
 
Can anyone just give us the NEWS without the hype (in some cases the hype of "having no hype")???

This is why I'm actually watching 3TV more -- their graphics/presentation are more subdued than the others!

So true! Are reporters supposed to "take action"? I thought that they were supposed to just report the news objectively. As much as I despise the hype, "Asking the Tough Questions" and "Telling It Like It Is" are closer to what journalists are supposed to do!
