ABC's insulting our intelligence

Couldn't help but notice that ABC is calling the last episodes of their primetime shows that apparently are done for now winter finales. Correct me if I'm wrong, but today is December 2, and winter does not begin until December 21. It's autumn right now, not winter. What are they going to call the shows that end in February, spring finales? What are they smoking over there? Stop insulting my intelligence and call it what it is, mid season finale, autumn finale, not winter finale when it's not even winter yet.
 
Cheaper to produce fewer episodes of Grey's Anatomy and air a bunch of reality programming. They are pushing "The Bachelor" on us again, which starts in January.
