ABC's " UFO's : Seeing is Believing "

So last night ABC ran this virtual remake of the Peter Jennings special that aired awhile back.
Same film footage, almost the same spoken lines but with a different host. I didn't get the point of it. Why a remake? The first one was better anyway. They should have just left it alone and run the original.
 
That's interesting! I saw the original version with Peter Jennings a few months ago on either History or Sci-Fi.
