About buying air time

Are there any local stations that sell weekend air time at a reasonable price? What stations do that and do you have any idea what it might cost?

That's about the most general and vague question you can ask. In response I'd ask you:
- What part(s) of the city are you trying to reach?
- What is your demographic?
- What is your definition of 'reasonable'?
- What are you selling? (Some stations, such as Christian, won't carry ads for items or services that may polarize or offend their audience)

WGUN is a strong 50,000 watt signal in the daytime. They are probably the most powerful station selling block time. I had a friend who used to buy time to play music from India on WGUN.
