Absolute Radio wins Oxford licence with Jack FM

US, Canada and now...

Absolute Radio has won the Oxford FM radio licence with its bid to air JACK-FM. The company has also bid for the Manchester and Liverpool licence contests.

106 JACK-FM/Oxford will be on-air by March 2007. The remaining licenses are to be decided by Ofcom in the next few months.

Hey, Jack, I think it's high time that you guys took over a station here in Montreal. There are a few stations here that are such crap (CKDG 105.1, CFQR 92.5, others). Go for it!
