AC Overload

What is with all these "AC" stations all of a sudden. Here in Crestview i can pick up wave 102, mix 103, 933 coast, 1041 jack fm, q100, and I can go on! It wouldn't be that bad but they all play the same songs! Tired old 80's songs along with tired old 90's songs with today's pop hits which are already being played out on the pop stations!! I feel like i time warped back to 1990! At least give me a rhythmic AC something. I know nobody really cares and the suits who read these boards will say something like. Ahem Our research says AC is the way to go as far as demographics in your area, so quit complaining and use your ipod. Bit I had to vent. THANX :)

Actually, the trend (doubtless backed up by research) is toward FM Talk. It would be interesting to see how one would do in your market.
