Yes!!! In addition to many more format adjustments..."Jack" might try picking a more original name for the new acoustic show! "Acoustic Sunrise" already has/is being used elsewhere in the market for some time now. Again...nothing "new" about today's New York radio! Same old same old...just a whole hell of alot cheaper...and "dumber" which is the real major reason for "JerK"...in mean Jack in the first place!!! Just keep "dumbing it down" to the point where we're all so stupid from listening that we'll buy any line of crap your advertisers are hawking. Do you think...Brian...that the smart ones in the demo you're programming to are that stupid? Think not!!!...THINK IPOD!!! "Stupid is as STUPID does".Signed, Forrest Gump
 
this is what JACK FM calls news and it needs a press release what a joke. The whole thing is songs being selected into the automation system and that annoying voice saying 101.1 Jack FM..news?? give me a break!
 
...at least it's something new and different. WCLZ-FM (www.989wclz.com) in Portland, Maine used to have, and may still do, "Acoustic Sunrise" on weekend mornings. While 'CLZ is an AAA format and somewhat tailored musically to its local market, this similar program on NYC's Jack FM may not be as successful. But it's too early to tell...people may actually like it because it is different from what's being programed on NYC radio. I'll give it a listen to...it may sound refreshing compared to all of the over-played and out-of-style classic dance saturated on NYC airwaves!
