Action News Caves In for Green Screen

The end is near :))))) Action News has finally adopted the green screen for their weather coverage and Dave Roberts does not look comfortable doing it. They go to a full-screen post-5 day outlook to allow Dave, Cecily, Sally Ann, David or whoever is doing the weather time to get back to the anchor desk.

For the love of all that is holy, how could someone there think it's an improvement? Compared to the on-set screen, the green screen effect looks cheap.

If it ain't broke....fix it anyway, apparently.

Traffic, too

They are using it for morning traffic, too. Their maps look like a cheap knock-off of John Ogden's (even with same little colored Pac-Dots).
