Active Rock Station Categories

I'm setting up an online active rock station and I was wondering what categories would work best.

I was hoping to have it lean newer, but still throw in the traditional active rock stuff like some alternative and a little classic rock in addition to the harder stuff.

Can anyone help me out? Also, what would be the best way to put these categories into a clock?

I've always been partial to; I, H, F and sometimes even, G. ;D
