Actor Alan Arkin Dies

That's where I remember him, from Edward Scissorhands. I also watched him in Firewall with Harrison Ford. May he RIP - long career!

Arkin was also with a musical group, the Tarriers, back in the early 60s, IIRC....
They only had one mild hit ---- and the title escapes me!!!
Wasn't he also in "Wait Until Dark" with Audrey Hepburn and Richard Crenna?

I think Arkin's first big movie role was in a 1966 film, The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming! as the lieutenant from a grounded USSR submarine, ordered into the Cape Cod fishing village to acquire a powerboat to free their sub. Funny, funny stuff.

Still one of my favorite scenes from The In-Laws with Alan Arkin, James Hong and Peter Falk.
