Actor Powers Boothe dead at 68

He died yesterday (Sunday) of natural causes. He was known for playing 'Curly Bill' Brocious in 'Tombstone,' played cult leader Jim Jones in the TV-movie 'Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones,' which won him an Emmy, played alongside Brandon Lee in Rapid Fire, and later had roles on Deadwood, 24, Nashville and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. May he rest in peace.

Here in Pittsburgh he is remembered for his chilling portrayal of a terrorist in the laughably
bad Sudden Death (about a terror attack on a Stanley Cup Game Seven, and shot at the old
Civic Arena).

RIP.
