Gary's been racking up awards, even this year, with the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation's "Giants of Broadcasting" Award just this year, Talking With Giants of Broadcasting: Gary Sandy - Radio Ink and an Ohio Valley Emmy for the Dayton-focused "A Very Carillon Christmas. ‘A Very Carillon Christmas’ TV special, spotlighting Dayton, wins Ohio Valley Emmy Award. Gary, Jan Smithers, Tim Reid and Richard Sanders are still with us from the cast
