Ad-filled 10 pm hour on WTKK tonight

How about this? Ingraham tonight did not start at 10:07 pm; I presume a tech. difficulty. Well it was a whopper of a problem as there were ads
upon ads; finally it starts but Mark Levin is
running along with it! Finally they abruptly go back to ads; I think the 10 pm hour was about
85 per cent ADS. Yeah, tech. problems do happen but they didn't have a backup show to put on?
Or were they taking care of "make goods"--making up for ads that for some reason didn't run when
they were supposed to?

Yeah, I heard it too. I started to think that they were running Ken Nordine's "Word Jazz" program (anyone else remember that one?). I couldn't believe that it went on as long as it did.

site lists 340).

I assume the board-op was simply running spots as they tried to solve the problem.

That's what I'm guessing but I would have hoped they would have had something as a backup on their
hard drive or even burned to a CD-R. Problem hooking up with re-broadcast of Ingraham, or a tech.
glitch won't let you play a pre-recorded show from earlier? Air something from a little while back until
prob gets settled. As I said it must have been a whopper of a problem because there must have been
ads for 20 min straight, then a bit of Laura, then 20 more minutes of ads...
Even if they stuck a radio rewind of Severin, E&B, or Graham in (along with a "we are having tech.
problems, please be patient" message...

Seems like it is a satellite problem. Howie just said WVMT was having tech. problems/satellite
with the Ingraham show and they went to Howie at 3 pm instead of 4
