I haven't listened to WAYV in years. Probably since Christina Joyce went on maternity leave and never came back! I remember hearing Heather (that was her name, right?) but she never sounded very enthusiastic to me. Maybe she got better as the years went by but I wasn't listening by then.
You know, I loved me some Christina. She had that sorta "friendly connection" thing going on. Of course, everyone (including me) loved her from the Boss 97 days so that may have had something to do with it. When she was able to do phoners, the callers always seemed really excited to be talking to her. Ahhhhhh, the days when local celebrities still existed.
So it's been, geesh, years and years since she left. Maybe she's ready to come back? They'd be crazy not to try to get her. Of course, she'd be bringing that local celebrity thing back...so they'd have to come up with the bucks!
