Adam Bomb leaving Q100

wow! huge! one of the best night jocks ive ever heard. Good luck wherever it takes you Adam

I'm told that he will be staying in the Cumulus family. They can't say where he's going, probably because he's replacing another jock in another market. I checked four of Cumulus' other larger markets (Houston, Dallas, San Francisco and Nashville) and the only one which has a top 40 station is Houston (KRBE-FM). So that's the most likely place he'll end up. I heard he was told Tuesday about the move (making that the last day he did a show here) so it didn't sound like his decision.

From what I understand, i93 in Dallas was looking for a new morning guy and with Roberts suggesting mornings lines up well with Dallas. KLIF are the "Legendary" call letters Jan Jeffries speaks of...

I guess somebody is going to get axed at the station he is going to so everybody has to be quiet. Sounds like one of those: your next paycheck will be at _______ deals, be there to get it.

>>"Well good for him...........................whoever he is."<<

Best post of the week. Thanks gregg75!

Ouch. Huge step down. Billy Bush's show is a poor man's version of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, which already airs during middays on Star 94. Plus, it completely removes the local element of Q100's night show, which was the only personality-driven daypart outside of Bert. Don't worry though, Jan Jeffries will be scheduling the music! :-X

Hope Darik and the Star 94 programming brass are ready to pick up some more night numbers...

Totally agree. as I said in another forum "it's sad a company wants to destroy a successful station by adding crap programming. Didn't a research report show the lowest on the list of what listeners cared to hear about was celebrity interviews and stale music?...just a thought."
