Adam Carolla coming to KXTE

So i saw the press release and Adam Carolla is going to be in morning drive on X107.5. Which is good because the Extreme Disorder show stinks. And Spike 1140 will be carrying Penn's show when he starts that. So with all these format flips and new shows coming on the air alot of cool stuff is happening in little old market 32.
 
I read differently, I do believe it's to be the David Lee Roth Show on X1075. With the change of their moniker, the David Lee Roth show will definatly fit in. Interesting enough, I do hear Penn Gillette will do his show from the Vegas studio's of Spike Radio. However it may be, Penn will have to really prove himself to his listeners and what will he talk about anyway, magic? The Penn Gillete show will be interesting to hear.

David Lee Roth will also be interesting on air too. Since his firing of Van Halen, Dave has yet to do anything interesting on or off tv and radio. Who is he planning on interviewing and what is the show going to be like. Train wreck on the way I can only assume. Just my opinion.

Historically, non-local morning shows have failed in Las Vegas. Mark and Brian (two different times), Mancow, Rick Dees and Don Imus all had poor ratings. I'm probably forgetting a show or two. The only one who could pull it off is Howard Stern.

Carolla is coming to 107.5, he got 5 markets (Vegas, LA, SF, SD and Phoenix).. ROth got cities on the East coast and ROver got some in the Midwest, the Junkies (from DC) got DC & Baltimore...

Head down to the Rio and buy a ticket and see what Penn does..the guy is going to have no problem filling an hour of air time...if you've watched the Showtime gig, the guy is multi faceted..magic is only one of the things he does..

I agree, Adam Carolla is going to be a good addition. He's always surrounded himself with good people (Jimmy Kimmell, Dr. Drew), if he can do that again he could be a success. I disagree on Extreme Disorder stinking though. The weren't very good at first, but their show has grown on me, and some of their bits have made me laugh out loud. Can't wait to see how everything pans out.
