Adam Corolla

Adam Corolla is the West Coast counterpart to O&A in the East. His showairs live 5AM-10AM PST. Are there any plans to pick up the latter part of his live show from 9AM-1PM EST and move Barsky to 1PM?

I wish this guy was on in Philly, I never saw the man show when it was current, but since they came on G4 I have been watching the reruns and Adam is really funny and witty. He should of been chosen instead of DLR when Free launched on YSP. Does anyone know how he rates on the West Coast stations.

His ratings have been about as good as David Lee Roth's - actually lower, I think.-Ray Dio
And the reason he kept his job is because he's a team player and a radio guy. DLR was not.

"...And the reason he kept his job is because he's a team player and a radio guy. DLR was not..."Just what does that have to do with ratings, return-on-investment and being a revenue generator?Ask any radio owner: they'll take a royal pain in the a** non-radio guy who generates $$ over a bona fide "radio guy" who doesn't any day. As for being a "team player", that went out with Little League's mantra: "Remember...there's no "I" in "team". Next, you'll be wanting radio guys to all engage in a "group hug" prior to show-time. ::)

You don't get it.DLR was a pain in the ass AND wasn't getting ratings. That's why he got axed.Corolla is a team player, so they are letting him try to build an audience. The Howard slot was probably the toughest gig to take over. CBS is willing to admit they made a mistake with DLR, but I don't think Hollander is quite ready to axe everyone he replaced Howard with.
