I doubt it seriously. If you're an actor registered with the Screen Actor's Guild, you cannot use the same name as another actor, but this does not extend to producers, directors, writers, etc - as long as they are non-actors.

Another example - writer and Producer Christopher Lloyd (Modern Family, many others), and actor Christopher Lloyd (Taxi, Back to the Future, etc.). Two different guys.
 
Nope, it's another guy. In stories about the recent sexual harassment case against the show brought on by one of its models, that point is made clear.
 
The "real" Adam Sandler did appear on TPIR though, towards the end of
Bob Barker's run, to wish his former Happy Gilmore co-star good luck in retirement.
