Adding an SCA

I am kicking around the idea of adding an SCA to one of my FMs to act as an IFB talkback to our remote vans when they are out on location. I'm reading a lot about cross-talk and other issues. Would you still get cross talk issues on the 92khz SCA? What about multi-path, is one SCA better than the other? Any tips or warnings on using an SCA?

If anybody is doing something similar, what equipment are you using? What receivers do you use?

Any info will help because this is new territory for me. Thanks!

use talking for the blind recivers. they have them on line. 92Khz with low mod levels should be real ok.

Make sure your AM noise is a low as possible. the more noise you have in the signal, the more crosstalk you'll get between the SCA and main channel. Also, watch the injection level. Injection should be between 8-10%, I ran across a SCA with an injection level of 30%! High injection like that robs you of modulation on your main channel and it increases multipath.

Dayton makes some great stuff, check out the AF200A. Been very happy happy with them.
