Question 1 are There Any Gay Life style Shows on in prime time on the weekends on any middle america station? and how do they do in the ratings?
Question 2 Should that type of show be put on a Conservative leaning Station in a Conservative City? even if it is just on weekends

I look for your imput?

I am new at this Talk PD Position so I look for Imput from expericed Talk PD's om this subject

Premiere used to syndicate a show called "Radio With A Twist" but that got cancelled within the last year or so.

As for the second part of your question, in my experience weekend talk is just filler, so as long as it may make money you're good. There's not alot of good weekend talk out there, which is why you see the "Best ofs" being offered more and more.

I know lots of stations just run "whatever" on the weekends, which is why a lot of weekend shows are unlistenable.

It will really depend on the station's ability to sell advertising around the shows. In all honesty, shows that complement the station's sound and direction will help the overall numbers. The danger of chasing off your listeners is that
there's a chance that they won't come back since there are so many other choices.

I've sent you a PM with some specific ideas.
