I view this as more writing on the wall that points to the end of the line for the Jammin' format in SA. Hard to tell yet if we'll have any interest in the next "new" KTFM.

well rumors are they are going to flip to spanish, if this is true KTFM is done. what a waste of those beautiful calls.
 
So if Jammin 94.1 flips to Spanish which has been the talk for the last two weeks. Will Clear Channel flip 92.5 or Q101.9 or perhaps Cox flips Magic 105.3? According to the latest book, Jammin 94.1 did better in all three key demos beating out Magic and Q101.9. Revenue will likely keep Magic & Q101.9 from making any major changes but what about 92.5 The Outlaw?

Btw, Jammin did really well this last book because they focus more on the 80's, something they should of done from the start.
 
If the flip is to latin then make it truly latin not just TexMex, other than Trinity's Henry Bruenen and TPR saturday night I can't get any decent latin or latin jazz.
Enough with the mariachi's, no offense, but we have enough TexMex stations in town already - its called market saturation
 
Listen - I have all the music I want to hear on my Ipod. I listen to the radio for the personalities. Rick and Henrietta were entertaining. So when I realized they were gone I turned off my radio.

Personally, both shows are boring. Although, the new show is worse than the last one.
 
I sampled the new KTFM morning show the last couple of days. It's ridiculously bad! Miss whatever-her-name-is appears to be unable to string together a sentence without using an incorrect word. Robin Flores has a good voice, but alternates between trying to come across as sly and acting clueless. Neither is an appealing personality.

This show may be cheaper, but it shows.

The show is HORRIBLE!!!!! The only thing that's saving the show is the music. I was listening for awhile but I couldn't stand listening to Robin and his inaccurate comments to current events. Nekka tries way to hard to sound cool.
Best time to tune in- after 10 am.
 
I dont even tune in to KTFM any more, as far as the morrning show, I have no comment that is how bad it is!
