Adobe 1.5 problem

Hello;

My Adobe Audition 1.5 decided to not playback (it scrolls, but no audio) in mix mode..It does however playback fine in edit mode. This tells me it's a software glitch of some sort..does anyone know what could be causing this?? Help!

Have you gone into "Windows Mixer" and checked the gain controls for the various input channels and have you checked the "Mute" boxes...... or shoud that be: have you UN-checked the Mute boxes.

You need to select your soundcard-in in the device properties/device order...I don't have 1.5 in front of me to tell you more than that, but it's somewhere in the options.

yup that's it..glad you got it..just for those who might not know..

Go to OPTIONS from the toolbar at the top..then click:

DEVICE PROPERTIES (make sure your sound card is listed as the device to use for WAVE IN and WAVE OUT) If it's not..select it from the list using the dropdown menu.

On the same window you will see next to where the device is listed "ORDER" make sure that your sound card is listed as 1st, for both WAVE IN and WAVE OUT..and the "Use this device in Edit View" is checked.

Then click OKAY. That's the way to do it in 1.5 Using 2.0 and 3.0 requires a different method.

Go to DEVICE
