Adobe 1.5 recording time issue

We have one Adobe Audition 1.5 that will not record past :30.
We've checked the options drop down and timed record is NOT checked.
Yet, hit record and it will for :30! Any Ideas..much appreciateed in advance.

I'm not a computer/Adobe expert...nor do I play one on the radio, but here's a thought or two.

Go to your OPTIONS then SETTINGS and then SYSTEM check your "Wave Cache". Mine is set to 16384 and I'm having no problems. Or maybe change your "temporary folders" setting. I'm sure you've already checked, but double check to see if you have enough space on the hard drive you're recording too. The only time I've had a problem that you are having is when my computer had run out of space. I made some back ups deleted the saved files and then everything worked again.

Or it maybe a Windows setting that someone screwed with perhaps the cache files in windows were changed without you knowing. Like I said I am NO expert, but it does sound like a "space available" problem.
If anybody else has ideas...speak up!

Terry

Thanks Terry and Surfdude. I did check out the cache and it is fine.
I'm leaning towards a space issue on the hard drive. I'll have the engineer
help out with that. I appreciate your responses.
