Adobe Audition CS5.5 Announced

Adobe Audition is finally getting an upgrade. There wasn't much information as Adobe wanted to wait until NAB to show off the newest version.

This information comes from the Adobe forums:

I'll probably upgrade, but not having grouping of clips is incredible. In radio I reload a lot of pre-buillt sessions aka xmll files and now any eq or settings won't load into the new version. Very disappointing to say the least for radio types.

I beta tested the Mac version and it's a welcome change from the schlock they trying to give us before (SoundBooth). I really think Adobe should offer a better discount for those who bought SoundBooth with all the hype that it was "claimed" to be like Audition.

Audition for Mac looks and works very, very well although I miss the Audition 1.5 interface I'm so use to on the Windows side. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and update that when I go for the Mac version, too.
